01 What happens if I decide to convert my Food Chain Cooperative (FCI) to cash?
If you choose to liquidate your Food Chain Cooperative, kindly contact our Admin or Client Care unit. A refund of your principal cooperative will be processed; however, please note that this refund will be made without any Return on Cooperative (ROI).
02 Can I pull out my ROI before the stipulated time?
You cannot pull out ROI on the FCI before the stipulated time. Instead, register for our Monthly Business Cooperative (MBI), where you can pull out at any time — though one day will be deducted on early withdrawal.
03 What ROI can I expect from MBI plans?
The 4-month MBI plan must reach three (3) full months of consistent contribution to qualify for a 15% ROI. The 6-month MBI plan must reach five (5) full months of consistent contribution to qualify for a 25% ROI. Plans that don't reach these milestones receive principal only.
04 In the case of death, who will be the beneficiary?
The next of kin whose detailed information was provided during registration will be the beneficiary. Please ensure your next-of-kin information is always up to date with our office.
05 How do I get my Food Chain Cooperative (FCI) package outside Rivers State?
Our representatives are currently available in FCT (Abuja), Lagos, Oyo, Delta, Bayelsa, Kwara, Edo and Kogi states. Reach out to us and we'll connect you with the representative closest to your location.
06 Can you deliver (logistics) items to any part of the country?
No, we currently only handle delivery within Rivers State. We're actively working on expanding our logistics network to cover more states soon.
07 What happens if my FCI payment is incomplete by the deadline?
FCI payments must be completed by the end of September each cycle. Members who fail to complete payment by then will incur a ₦1,000 late fee per plan. Plans with significant outstanding balances may not qualify for that year's distribution in October.
08 Can I transfer my cooperative card to someone else?
No. Cooperative cards are strictly non-transferable. Each card is registered to a single member using their bank-registered name and cannot be reassigned, sold, or used by another person.
09 How safe is my personal and financial information?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is strictly limited to authorised staff. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Read our full Privacy & Terms for more.
10 How do I locate your office and what are your hours?
Our office is at No. 25 Rumuokwachi Town, beside OSPAC office, along Ozuoba-Ogbogoro Road, Obio/Akpor LGA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
We're open Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
